Maybe happiness didn't have to be about the big, sweeping circumstances, about having everything in your life in place. Maybe it was about stringing together a bunch of small pleasures. Wearing slippers and watching the Miss Universe contest. Eating a brownie with vanilla ice cream. Getting to level seven in Dragon Master and knowing there were twently levels to go.
Maybe happiness was just a matter of the little upticks-the traffic signal that said "walk" the second you got there-and downticks-the itchy tag at the back of your collar-that happened to every person in the course of a day. Maybe everybody had the same allotted measure of happiness within each day.

so im talking to my doctor about my g..nervous, im nervous.. nervous.. he says, i know what the problem might be, isis that you drink so much coffee it's making you a little jittery.. and i said what??? and he said coffee.. and i said yes, thank you i would love some.. so he said no, just that could be the problem.. and whats so ironic about the whole thing is we were talkin about my eh nervousness due to coffee over coffee so i think he he's just tryin to hook me and and putting me in this vicious cycle discussing my dependence on coffee over coffee thus re-enforcing the dependence and re-enforcing his dependence on my money ..so i said maybe we shouldn't meet in "joe's coffee shop" anymore, uh 'n maybe we should go to your office or something.. and he says well that would be fine.. and i said well do you have any coffee there.. and he said no i i don't have any coffee there.. so i said well with all the money i give you you ya when a patient comes in you can give him a little decaf or somethin'! you can't just go throughout the day without coffee.

First night out since I've been back.. Carried a girl home. She passed out immediately in bed. I cleaned up all the things she knocked over and straightened up her desk and put up an away. Then her suitemate or whatever came in and told me to leave? She was drunk too I wasn't going to but she was a wench.. Shes in my athletic training class.. I was like "I got her back here so she'll just sleep it off.." she's like "Yeah that's nice. You can leave now. I've know her for two years. You shouldn't worry or anything. It is college." People are so ungrateful. That fugly slut can fuck herself for all I care. Bitch. Signed myself out and saw more drunk people screaming my name? I didn't know them. It was a good time otherwise... Didn't get to bed until umm 4am... Drunk dialers and all that good stuff. I bugged Dan late.. I don't know if he was mad about that, but whatever. I'm his cousin he can listen to me bitch if I want him too. I care too much, that's my problem.. It always will be. I woke up real early cuz Juls has class today (yes a Saturday, poor girl) from 9-1.. I got up with her... The hail was so fucking loud anyway, it's not like I could have slept if I had cared too.

well.. a good break overall.. i have so much to think about. i miss my western new yorkers, and western new york itself though.. but i know tomorrow i'm going to be more then weepy about heading back.

i am officially frusterated to every possible extent. the good thing is this whole summer we're re-doing the house and getting it ready to sell.. well, we already started doing that but we're finishing it up. i'm looking forward to that just because of the move.

i don't know how leaving tuesday is gunna fly.. i just don't think it's going to be a happy ride back, at least i have juls who will feel the same.. coming with me.. i've been looking at a lot of other options.... we'll see what's up in june.

yesterday was okay.. the whole point of me going to the mall was to get new sneakers but that didnt work out... whiney mcgee, lo, and dan came with.. dan got a lot of stuff but not me.. joe's sucha friggen whiner. jeesh, we didn't spend much time there.. then we went back and hung out with matty, matt, joe, dan at the house.. that kind of was okay.. then dan and i brought Lo home and i went back to chill again.. the highlight of that time period was going to Kohls with Matty and Matt lol. sad. i know. then dinner with the family there, and watched TV until i left. wow, what a friggen loser. i love my exciting days... im going to get new sneakers soon. i have to. i remember when we went to boston and everybody made fun of me because nobody knew me well enough to know that everytime i get new shoes i have to sleep in them. haha and i got two pairs there! ah jeez.

Too bad friendships diminished so quickly.

My parents have officially decided to move after my sisters wedding.. I'm not saying next town over, but Virginia or the likelihood, North Carolina. Less than two years. Finally, getting out.. Living in a much nicer area/house like we should. I'll stay here I think.. I don't know we'll see.. Not here, here.. But NY as a second residence on my own... Hopefully with Matty or something, maybe an apartment, depending on where we both are in a few years... I need him nearby I think, he's twin brother-ish.. Just not twins, and italian... Hahah. I love my cousin. Dan too.

So tired of it all..... I need to work out and spend some time at the rink tomorrow after tanning.. I wanted to go to the crunch game too with the boys but I may end up just hanging with Dan and Lo... Hopefully Joe will stay back to hang out too but we'll see! He has a soccer game so who knows.

welp lazy week it is.

weekend consisted of nothing but hanging at the hanfords for ncaa's and the crunch/amerks game with daddy. monday, oh i guess that was yesterday, i just went to the mall with matty and joe then to his uncles.. good times, i love him, it sucks cuz things are different from the summer, feels like i lost a best friend-- but, i guess, it's just cuz he was so busy with hockey and all.. then joe, he's just dumb as a rock. ;)

today i finally got some sleep but woke up happily at 530... ended up sleeping again just for a short while.. tomorrow is another crunch game but with joe... dad has to work. if we don't end up going i'll probably just stay at the hanfords again 'til late... yesterday when i tried to drive home my car made this clunking sound and no pickup.. apparently my gas gage is off cuz the 4 minute trip took more like 21 minutes and my 14 gallon tank was filled to 13.2 gallons.. talk about REALLY BAD. whoops.

i miss kt so much.. i havent talked to her since juls and i sent her off.. it was sad, like she was our kid going to a sleepover for the first time.. except there was the addition of massive sized bags lol.. *tear* i miss my deephers so much too.. i was so sick last week that i couldn't attend any of the events. bah.

i'm really not into updating lately.. i think ill head out. leave it!

I have a lot to write but I'm kind of not in the mood to write it lol.

Well Kate gave me some NyQuil which was quite refreshing this afternoon because I have not had sufficient sleep in the past four days... So catching up on two and a half hours was amazing to say the least. Kate slept for three. I was so pissed because last night, the one night there was a good potential for me to be able to sleep, I stayed up to study for my test at 9am.. Then it's a friggen snowy mess this morning with nothing plowed and coming down hard and I get there all prepared and what not just to find out it was moved to Friday. So the 6 hours of sleep in the past four days that I received definitely hit me hard this afternoon.. I so ignorantly agreed to go to Erie dining hall for the fifth time this entire year with Juls.. Wow, again, that was a whole lot of BAD IDEA! It is sooo disgusting in there.. Why do you people eat there? Do you smell yourself when you come out? *shutters*

Yeah I had politics yesterday which normally isn't too exciting. I like politics, I'm into it but I'm not all persuasive, trying to recruit people to get away from the "dark side" and believe what I believe or anything like that so don't think you're going to get a serious debate out of me.. Sure, I'll debate, but just for the sake of validation. Anyway, that's not the point (that was just background).. Okay, so we have these groups where we present a chapter from this book by Hudson (a Providence professor) and it's just all the flaws in democracy and how they can be fixed or if they need to be fixed and crap like that.. That's all fine and dandy, I don't go to May so I'm not stressing yet.. But the one that presented yesterday was "Inequality".. They presented in a debate format which was good so people got both sides but it was so sad one of these kids (quite a piece of shit) actually believed in the ignorance coming out of his mouth.... Definitely racist and completely oblivious to the fact that people that don't have money to support their families aren't always at fault.. BUT, it was the post-presentation that got to me.. Inequality was supposed to refer to racial and wealth within the United States.... I don't want to ramble too much about this so I'll skip all the details cuz I'm sure nobody gives a shit.. But, anyway.. there was just a whole lot of "people that are poor just sit on their asses and pop out kids so they can get more money coming into them" and "i don't think we should give to anybody less fortunate, the money i make i earned and i shouldn't be penalized for having money i earned." oh and i especially loved the "we shouldn't have Universal Health Care because people won't work then." <- are you a fucking idiot? Seriously. You don't even make sense... You know class is REALLY bad when the only person speaking that I can actually listen to is Mike Davidson.. I'm sorry, I don't understand how people in this country can be so selfish.. I know that my class is just a microcosm, but I think it's a pretty good representation of the egocentric individuals in this country.. You know that most of the kids are getting their views from their parents.. And this elephant-sized pot head was sitting their running his mouth about how his daddy shouldn't give up his money for taxes to help anybody but themselves. Okay, well maybe he should know that the money he's putting in your bank account is being used on various types of drugs so you can sit in class and be a waste of life. Seriously, what are you going to do with your life? I grew up having everything I needed and nearly everything I wanted but I don't take it for granted for a second. My mom grew up in a less fortunate family, not poor, but a middle class family with many siblings.. She's never a big buyer and takes everything in her stride with modesty. I love her. When I was younger and filling out information for an e-mail account they asked how much income was coming in my house, a normal question.. My mom wouldn't tell me, she thought it wasn't necessary for me to know.. If I asked, it was a "rude question to ask" or would ask me what I gained from knowing that? She didn't want me to be a selfish kid that bragged about how much my parents made. My father and mother kept me grounded growing up and respectful of others with the best manners, especially at the dinner table or on the phone.. They've always been philanthropic and if I could make a career out of that I would. I understand that if you grow up in money you sometimes don't realize how lucky you are, but I think it's the parent(s) job to mold their kids (as best they can) to be grateful and generous. People get pissed that government is taking their money to give to the less fortunate in excess.. But there's not nearly enough people that have the money that are philanthropic enough to give out of the goodness of their hearts so there the only ones in the position to help. I'm not suggesting any tax raises or anything of that sort.. Actually, what I'm talking about isn't even about politics.. I just wish people weren't so self-interested, stingy, and ungenerous.

That rant was much longer then I had hoped.. Sorry. Skip over it if you're not interested. Today I had lunch with Coxy and my Grand Big! That was a good time.. I'm really happy that Cox won't be at the Sig Ep mixer either because he's like my favorite Sig Ep ever soo.. At least I'll be at the toga mixer. Yeah, so we have this Greek Summit thing coming up.. Where are the Greeks on campus present problems or suggestions of promotion to the administration on campus.. Whether you guys reading this love/hate social fraternities and sororities I just want you to know that the greeks on this campus are very much actively involved in numerous and significant amounts of chairty/community service. Yeah we can have mixers and parties but on another level it's an enormous support system witha great set of hearts. I think our biggest problem on this campus is the rivalries.. There used to be a lot more greek organizations but now it's down to just a few of us these days.. The biggest sororities are Sigma Kappa and Delta Phi Epsilon (that's me) and for fraternities it's Delta Chi and Sigma Phi Epsilon... I don't understand why there's so much tension between the two sororities and the same tension between the two fraternities.. A large portion of the campus is not greek so it's not like we're competing for membership.. Come formal rush maybe a little.. But a permanent thing? No. It's very sophomoric and kind of annoying but I can't help but get caught up in it. It happens, right.

We beat this team 6-2 earlier in the season without McCarey or blue so this should be a fairly good prediction of the game tomorrow.. Yes, take into consideration they too are in their third state game so they will be amped but, let's look at the reality.. Their team is not solid. Not like ours at least.. Hopefully we'll be bringing our A game so we can embarass them at least a little. It was apparent that yesterdays game was just horrific for the other team.. The score was 5-1 B'ville (obviously). When.. technically if.. they win tomorrow night they'll be playing Canton at Cheel Arena on Clarkson University's campus. I'm not sure about that match-up.. I'll have to do my research before the game.. But let's just say if we get past Canton we're gunna have a real good chance of being in the championship.. As I said before, we'd be playing the winner of Seton Catholic/Williamsville North in the final four and I know for sure after traveling to Morrisville to see that tourney that we can beat both of those teams.. and have. They're good, I'm not saying they're not.. But we are better. We have THREE, not just one solid goaltenders.. GREAT defense... And very good forwards *brush the shoulders off* yup, one of them is Matty. I'll be driving to Clarkson with Dan on Saturday night to see that Canton/Bville game providing they win and definitely excited about that.... Let's just say that Matt's happy I pressured him so much to play this year. The kid just amazes me.. He took a year off and came back this year.. senior year.. skating better then before and much more heart. The kid is a wuss when it comes to pain too but lately he pushes it aside like it's nothing.. I can't believe the injuries he's playing on... 2nd line nonetheless.. Can't wait to see him.. We became so close over the summer, he's my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him.. I miss him so much but hopefully he'll come here next year! Word, two Hanfords on one campus.. Oh jeez!

I miss Lo.. But I'll see her Friday.. Woot! We're such teenie boppers. I'm not looking forward to my train ride.. I love driving. I think I'll be bringing the car back so I won't have to worry about it again. Tonight America's Next Top Model is on.. Ahh I love fashion! Love and Basketball is also on.. I love that movie and I miss playing so much. Hopefully the nerve damage will calm down enough where I can start playing leagues again. Just a little over a week until Alyson comes home.. God I miss her. I wish she didnt move but I'm glad we both got out of that hell hole a year early! She's going to play ball at Barton in five weeks (a great division II school in NC) to see if she wants to play there.. She could play division I but she'd probably sit the bench for a few years.. At least D2 she'll play and get a great education.. I wish you could meet her.

My sister just called me asking me for my social security number because shes doing her will thinger.. Wow awesome. haha what a phone call.. She's like "yeah sooo.. I need your soc number in case I kick the bucket" (she got a new job so she has to assign where all her vacation pay and sick pay, as well as stock investments and life insurance).. I have 20% of everything, life insurance I think is half with this job in the federal building.. She works in social security similar to my mom but obviously a lower grade.. Then in her other job (shes a starbucks supervisor) my cousin, Liam, and I split all starbuck stocks. She's not doing manager anymore cuz she's only part-time.. 60 hours a week. What a crazy pants. She gets married in October! I am so excited... I am a flippin' sap for weddings.. I'm gunna lose it. I love Stephen, he's definitely a great brother figure.. He's as good to me as my own brother and I'm so happy he'll be an addition to the family.. He has a HUGE italian family! If you couldn't tell we're very Irish.. Bailey.. That's a dead giveaway.. Not to mention the Connery cousins are named Declan and Liam lol.

Matty's game is tonight. (He assisted the winning goal in the last game). His second state game vs. Gates/Chili at 7:35.. I wish I was home so I could see it but hopefully he'll win so they advance and I can catch his game on Saturday! Good luck kid, I miss ya and love you much! I'll tape ya up this weekend before your game. <<Good action pic of him>>

Katie and I had an athletic training test this morning, wasn't too bad.. Taping and Bandaging next class! Now I can tape her before track so she doesn't kill her ankles. Wanted to kill Angeli or whatever the hell the dumb bitches name is that sits diagonal.. Please, throw yourself a little more at the hockey guys, you puck slut. She does their homework and just sits there and giggles and lectures them *vomits*.. So sick of it. We wanted to shoot ourselves everytime she opened her mouth... Anyway, we went to breakfast after, like usual, and Mike came with us.. He's quite an interesting fella. "So...... Have you guys tried the Bedazzler yet?" Um... What? "The thing that puts the beads in your hair. It looks real cool." Oook... I especially liked the, "do you wear colored contacts?" haha.

Ehh the rest of my day would normally consist of Philosophical Inquiry, American Politics, and Anthropology from 2-6:20 but since my Anthro professor drives from Buffalo she cancelled class.. She hates the snow.. "WHAT THE HELL! DO U SEE IT OUTSIDE? I HAVE TO DRIVE HOME IN THIS" That's what we hear every class that it's snowing. She's a good professor though lol.

Heading home this weekend to see Ryan Cabrera with Lo. haha.. Yeah so.. Who cares if we'll be the only ones over thirteen years old! Haha.. Saturday if Matt doesn't win we're driving to the Monroe CC Rink (home of the Amerks and for you WNYers the Buffalo Sabres Training Camp) to see McQ pull out on top.. Hopefully coming back to Fredtown with my car now that my lawyer prevented me from losing my license haha.. My tickets were reduced to "No turn on red" and "Failure to report change of address to DMV".. Yeah I'm definitely a lucky shit! I feel guilty cuz dad had to pay for the lawyer, the ticket fines, and he's still (thank god) paying for my insurance and gas. I'm going to pay him back even though he doesn't want me too.

Next week is a busy week for the sorority.. On the 8th we have Buffalo News Kids day and we meet at the Willy C at 5:30am and head to Central and Route 5 to sell newspapers from 6-9.. Which is rough for me cuz I have class at 9:30 as well as a meeting at 11 and class 2-6:20.. Then that night we have Chapter at 7:30 because Sunday isn't going to work out.. March 12th is a mixer with the Sig Ep brothers: Cowboys and Cowgirls ( I love those guys ) and then the 13th is Founders Day Brunch, Alumni thing, and Formal Chapter.. but... I'm pretty sure I'm heading home next weekend cuz Alyson is coming up from NC and I haven't seen her in awhile.. Lauren's also the lead in the HS musical so I have to see that too.. Not to mention two Crunch games.. I'm not much of a Crunch fan but I enjoy my Ice Level behind the goal seats. I was hoping someone would join me but understandable that it might be uncomfortable. Would be a pretty cool weekend though.. It will be fun otherwise!! The week after I get to deliver daffodils for the American Cancert Society.. D Phi E already raised $5000 just from us.. Awesome!! Our spring break starts the 18th.. Gotta take KT to the airport the 17th cuz she's heading to Florida for track.. Luckyyy! :( I won't see her that whole week though! NOT TO MENTION IT'S SAINT PATRICK'S DAY (and a Thursday)!! Definitely goin' to be celebrating the 100% Irish in me :-D.

Have to study before the rest of my classes today.. I have a big test tomorrow morning. :( I hope I can sleep tonight too... I got halfway through last night, thank God.
